How it all started
DIAL was born from a collaboration between experienced industry experts and bright young competition champions.Our work quickly attracted other AI enthusiasts within EPAM, helping us form a talented and passionate team with expertise in machine learning, high-frequency trading, self-driving cars, and data analysis.
Taking off
DIAL was first launched for EPAM's internal audience with one clear goal: to provide employees and developers secure, centralized access to AI tools through both API and UI interfaces, while ensuring strict data privacy.With 30,000 weekly active users, DIAL proved to be reliable, effective, and scalable.
Driving business value
As DIAL grew, it naturally evolved into a vendor-agnostic, open-source middleware solution with a Unified API.Our mission expanded to recreate the internal success for clients, serving as a single point of entry and a dev studio for all GenAI initiatives.This evolution aligned with our focus on ROI - working strategically to identify specific areas where AI could generate clear financial gains.
